Rising alt-pop artist Kai Bosch strips back his usual production and flair for a simple piano-led ballad in this, his emotionally-charged release ‘Wishbone’. Taken from his new EP, ‘Love, Throw Me A Bone’, the tender track marks the closing number for his devastatingly beautiful collection of songs about heartbreak following the end of a tumultuous relationship with his ex-boyfriend. Watch the video here. Previous tracks from the EP, including the RotD-featured ‘Funny’, have received spins at Radio 1 (Jack Saunders, Sian Eleri and Jess Izatt), tastemaker praise from the Line Of Best Fit, Clash, Dork, Far Out Mag, and Earmilk, and playlist support at Spotify UK (NMF, Our Generation, Alt/Pop) and Apple Music (NMD, New In Alternative, New In Indie). Having already been extremely busy on the live circuit throughout 2023, including festival appearances at Latitude, Boardmasters and The Great Escape, and supporting both Katie Gregson MacLeod and Gretel Hanlyn on their recent UK/EU tours, Kai Bosch will start his headline tour of the UK tonight in Brighton and play The Social in London tomorrow night (1 May). One to watch.
