Californian singer songwriter Joey Ryan has been gaining some exposure over here recently with two tracks - this simply crafted and warmly sung one among them – currently featuring on Wrigley's Extra ad spots on Hollyoaks. Listener reaction led to plays on Jo Whiley, which isn't bad for an unsigned singer songwriter with little previous outings over here. An album will be self-released at the end of the summer, as he completes a string of London gigs. Previous syncs for independent movies and TV shows have earned him good placing in the iTunes charts in the US, Canada and France. Joey Ryan is available for records and publishing. JF
