This is the debut single from Joe Lean And The Jing Jang Jong. Joe Lean (ex-drummer with The Pipettes) along with other implausibly named band mates cite Big Star and Smokey Robinson among their influences. Vertigo signed the five-piece after much label interest earlier in the year and this release comes out through Young & Lost. Early press has been good too, such as this new bands feature for The Guardian. A short sharp shock of a song, we liked this instantly and it serves as a welcome introduction to their sound – Lonely Bouy is another track on their MySpace that stands out for us.
