JC Stewart
Hey Babe, I’m A Mess, I’m Sorry

Stanley Park Music

WE SAY

We’ve been longtime fans of the emotionally rich songwriting of Northern Ireland’s JC Stewart, having first featured him in 2018 with ‘Like I Did’. Since then, it’s been a rollercoaster ride for the 27 year old artist - with over 326m combined streams to his name, a major label bidding war that led to a deal with Warner Music, a touring and writing partnership with good friend Lewis Capaldi (JC co-wrote ‘Hollywood’ on Lewis’ debut album), a number one single in Czech Republic and gold-selling success in Eastern and Northern Europe. Now entering a new era as an independent artist via Stanley Park Records, JC delivers this gorgeous, vulnerable, and emotional piano ballad. With JC’s intimate and sincere vocals, ‘Hey Babe, I’m A Mess, I’m Sorry’ has already received its first play on Radio 1's Future pop show with Jodie Bryant earlier this week, and been described as "a brutally honest new emotional direction" by the Official Charts Company. We expect this won’t be the last with its radio-friendly air perfect for Radio 1, 2, Capital FM, Heart and more. Featuring across new release programming at Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music today, the track is destined for major playlist additions at DSPs, along with being picked up for sync opportunities in films and TV. Watch the video here. After honing his craft across hundreds of UK and European shows, JC Stewart will be playing two intimate club shows at the Shacklewell Arms in London next week (28 & 29 May) before homecoming shows in Belfast the following week. In September, JC will begin a seven-date tour of Europe, with more new music coming soon. A welcome return from a talented artist who has everything to be a global star.
