Frontin'
Jamie Cullum
WE SAY
Jamie recorded Frontin' for Radio 1's Live Lounge. The Neptunes heard it, loved it, and said so on Radio 1. Jamie went to the Brits and raved about The Neptunes, only for the three of them to be introduced live on TV and vow to work together. Meanwhile, Jamie's new single is a double A: previous Record of the Day These Are The Days (his best track, and an original), backed with Frontin' (which is now on the Radio 1 playlist thanks to the endorsement of Pharrell). World domination beckons. None of this is luck though: it's what happens to people like Jamie (and Pharrell) who have that slightly manic look in their eyes called star quality.
