James Vincent McMorrow

Believe Recordings

WE SAY

After we featured the track Cavalier almost a year ago from his second album Post Tropical, James Vincent McMorrow saw his new musical direction pick up a raft of rave reviews from the critics. Now that exceptional album (formerly Album Of The Week at Radio 1 and 6Music) is about to be expanded with several new tracks (including this achingly-gorgeous song) and a bunch of remixes. James recently made a surprise guest appearance at Duke Dumont's debut live London show at Oslo after the pair of them recently collaborated on some forthcoming tracks. This weekend sees James doing a live session for Dermot O'Leary's Saturday afternoon show at Radio 2 and a hotly anticipated headline gig at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on Sunday evening (October 5). There's also a Sky Arts Session on TV on October 18 to watch out for. With nods to both James Blake and electronic pioneers The Blue Nile vocally here, this quite simply is breathtakingly beautiful.
