If ever there were an artist who's shaping up to have a spectacular 2015, it's 23 year-old singer-songwriter James Bay. Currently wowing fans as he supports Hozier on his US tour, this Hitchin lad has already had two Hype Machine No.1's, eight real-time Shazam No.1's and trended No.1 on Twitter. His forthcoming UK tour later this month is completely sold-out (including a date at London's Scala on November 25), as is his headline gig at Koko next February. Radio 1's Zane Lowe made this exceptional track his Hottest Record as well as his Single Of The Week and Fearne Cotton recently invited him into the Live Lounge where he received unprecedented audience reaction. Now the station has added it to their playlist with Xfm also adding this seven weeks upfront. His hotly anticipated Jacquire King-produced debut album is due in the spring. With an incredible 'lived-in' voice for one so young and a unique talent that's likely to explode at a global level, we can't wait for the summer festivals to roll around and witness him command those massive stages. Expect mass adoration soon after.
