Cynical Heart

Jam & Spoon feat. Jim Kerr

Polydor Island (Germany)

WE SAY

We really like Jam & Spoon. They've done everything from Europop to happy hardcore to gospel-inspired house, with consistently excellent songs and production. They're major artists in Germany and this is the single that launched their long-awaited comeback album there. Imagine what classic Simple Minds would sound like if they had been produced by Richard X (or indeed Gary Numan) and you're there. Guests on the album are a mixture of veterans like Dolores O'Riordan, Midge Ure, Tricky and Mark Gardener (ex-Ride), and German stars like the brilliant Xavier Naidoo and Rae (from Reamonn). Read more about the album from Besonic. And let our messageboard know whether this album should be released in the UK.
