Jacob Plant ft. Example
WE SAY
Jacob Plant is a fast-rising young British producer who counts Calvin Harris and Steve Aoki amongst his biggest supporters. They nurtured him through their respective labels, Fly Eye Recordings and Dim Mak, and now he sets his sights on crossover success with this mighty tune. Radio 1’s Danny Howard debuted it, then played it for three consecutive weeks. Picked up by many other key dance specialists at Radio 1 and 1Xtra including Mistajam, Majestic and DJ Target, plus Ministry of Sound Radio, Gaydio, Capital, Kiss and The Wideboys, it then flew to No.1 on the Cool Cuts chart. Example is the first person ever to provide guest vocals on one of Plant’s tracks, but it’s a winning combo, with his distinctive rap over the bassline breakdown complimenting a more reflective verse hook throughout. Having just supported Knife Party at Brixton Academy, he returns to London for a date at The Forum on November 13. Already streaming and spotlighted in many of the most-followed playlists, and with coverage from UKF and Earmark amongst others, this feels like it's about to explode.
