Jacob Banks is set to release his incredible soul-infused vocal on the world in this standout debut. The lead track from forthcoming EP The Monologue; Kids On The Corner has already been championed as a Next Hype record by Zane Lowe, with strong national support from the likes of Xfm's John Kennedy and Mary Anne Hobbs, with 1Xtra's DJ Target and CJ Beatz also showing him a great deal of love. Online, Hypetrak and MTV have pledged support as the 21 year old singer has burst onto the scene in emphatic style, winning the Adidas 'Are You In' music competition and the Birmingham leg of the MOBO Unsigned tour. Key industry nights such as Wired, Converse Represent and upcoming performances - including a support slot for Daley at KOKO - have added to the buzz, as this young talent makes a strong entrance into recorded music with the insatiable Kids On The Corner.
