Currently unsigned and looking for management, Jack Morgan is a 22-year-old musician from east London with a great soulful voice and enough raw talent to make it very big indeed. We came across him recently when he submitted this track directly to us, and we were instantly taken with it. He began writing poetry as a kid then progressed to the piano, where he started composing songs when he was 15 and has spent the time since then crafting his style. With musical influences like his childhood hero Justin Timberlake and also Prince clearly evident here, Jack began 2016 with a sold out show at the Fiddler's Elbow in Camden for his debut five track EP You Made Me Run, and is back playing live again in London in a couple of weeks at Cargo in Shoreditch on September 30. His personality is engaging and infectious, and this song is a superb introduction to his work. An R&B pop groove sets things up and he's absolutely killing it vocally as he hits some cool falsetto runs on the memorable chorus. Stand aside, Sam Smith - there’s fresh competition rapidly heading your way.
