Released last week and featuring on fourteen Spotify New Music Friday playlists (including the UK), This Feeling is the latest rework by Ryan Riback, who’s remix of Starley’s Call On Me has so far amassed over 600m streams on Spotify. Originally written in 2016 by the Berlin-based songwriting duo IYES, who have previously garnered tastemaker support for their music from likes of Pitchfork, Guardian, Nylon and Hunger Mag, Ryan has ramped up the energy levels to turn this into a massive pop-dance come EDM dancefloor smash. Instantly engaging with a glorious blend of boy-girl harmonies, warped vocal hooks and soaring synth work, this is, quite simply, an infectious and uplifting tune.
