Breakout drum & bass vocalist and songwriter Issey Cross has a summer banger on her hands with this euphoric, hands-in-the-air anthem. Originating from a remix-mash up idea that Luude had in 2022, Issey worked with the Australian producer to flip a sample from the Verve’s iconic ‘Bittersweet Symphony’ into this fast-paced and energetic tune. The song has already gone viral on TikTok after she uploaded a snippet of her performing the track at her Homebase rave event earlier this month. This led to 1.3m views, 1k creations on TikTok and 2k in presaves/adds ahead of its release today (30 June). Featuring across new release programming at Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer and Soundcloud, the track is destined to be featured across summer dance editorial playlists and expect to hear it on Radio 1, Radio 1 Dance, Capital Dance, Kiss and more soon. Freshly signed to Atlantic Records after collaborations with Luude, Hybrid Minds, Nathan Dawe & Bru-C and Wilkinson, Issey is quickly establishing herself as an in-demand songwriter with three UK Top 40 singles to her name, as well as an artist in her own right. One to watch.
