WE SAY
We've supported Ironik since his first single for Asylum (Stay With Me spent nine weeks in the Top 20). We've written previously that he's an artist with 'loads of great hooks, a fantastically commercial sound and huge charisma too'. The hooks don't come much better than this sample from Sir Elton's classic, and it's helped by an appearance from Mobo-winning 18 year-old Chipmunk. Elton John has only cleared samples for rap artists twice before (Tupac and Kanye). It's a winning combination and an irresistible end result; this deserves to be a huge summer hit. JF
