Fools In Love

Inara George

Loose Music

WE SAY

Inara George is the daughter of Little Feat's Lowell George. This, her debut, was produced by Michael Andrews (Donnie Darko OST). Over the course of the album, All Rise, George's sound sways between sweet indie pop and soulful folky tracks like these, her voice remaining resplendent throughout. We tried to feature this track last year when we first got hold of the album and we're glad that All Rise is getting its UK release through Loose this summer. There's an air of Suzanne Vega on this track, a great cover of a Joe Jackson number. It will be worth hearing that voice live. JF London Gigs: 30 May, Borderline W1. 31 May, 12 Bar, Denmark Street WC2
