Imogen Heap's Ellipse has landed the UK artist the highest album chart positions of her career, both in the UK (where it is her first Top 40 album) and in the US, where it landed last week at No5 in the Billboard 200. It is No1 in the Dance/ Electronic Albums Chart and No2 in Digital albums, underlining where a lot of where her support has come from. Much of the media coverage has stemmed from her excellent use of social media to interact with fans and market the album - the LA Times recently called her 'a new- media sensation, a model for success in today's fractured music industry landscape'.
