Johnny Got A Boom Boom
Imelda May
WE SAY
Imelda May's first single is this delightful blend of rockabilly, blues and jazz. Jools Holland is a big fan and supporter - May supported him on tour when she was unsigned and performed on his R2 show as well as TV series 'Later..', on which she performed this track. Taken from her debut album 'Love Tattoo', out on Blue Thumb/UCJ, her retro style and lively sound should find even more fans in 2009. JF
