Delivering a heady dose of indie-blues-rock aesthetics on ‘Wild Flying Dove’ is British duo, Ida Mae. Taken from their forthcoming third album ‘Thunder Above You’, the husband and wife duo have honed their sound and offer an infectious song with swinging grooves and a hint of Hendrix. It’s perfect for blues/rock editorial playlists at DSPs and spins on Radio 2 and 6 Music specialist shows. Their previous releases have caught the attention of Rolling Stone, Independent, Guardian, Clash, NME, American Songwriter and Songwriting Magazine, to name just a few. Having supported Allison Kraus, Willie Nelson and Greta Van Fleet, the duo will be heading out on EU and UK tour in November in support of their third album release, but before that will be playing Big Feastival and Greenbelt Festival this month.
