Self Machine
I Blame Coco
WE SAY
Self Machine is a great choice of first single proper for Coco Sumner aka I Blame Coco to make the right impact at radio as her campaign steps up a gear. The follow-up to Caesar (which featured Robyn), Self-Machine was a co-write with Klas Ã…hlund (Robyn, Sugababes, Teddybears). Ã…hlund also shares production duties on her forthcoming album, The Constant, which is out in September. There's a good remix from La Roux doing the rounds (Coco has recently toured with her) as well as mixes from Sub Focus and Jakwob, among others. Featuring on Sub Focus' track Splash, which made it to B-list at BBC Radio 1, and appearing at Radio 1's Big Weekend have set things off nicely for her. I Blame Coco play Glastonbury and more festival dates to be announced. London gig: June 17 Heaven WC2 (w/ Robyn)
