The Liberty

I Am Harlequin

unsigned/Oh! Inverted World

WE SAY

The Liberty is the beautifully crafted debut from I Am Harlequin. The German born artist grew up in a culture of ballet and opera before being introduced to a world of pop when the Berlin wall came tumbling down, leading to influences such as Rachmaninoff, Kate Bush and Stephen Sondheim. The songstress has been championed for her live shows, which have included recent appearances at Music Week Breakout, Boardmasters, Brighton Festival and Last.fm at The Garage. This is an artist clearly full of talent and promise. Her debut album, due spring 2012, will be self written, produced and released.
London Gigs: December 1, Proud Galleries NW1, December 17, Hoxton Underbelly N1
