Better Than Love
Hurts
WE SAY
The dramatic, brooding pop we've heard so far from Hurts is portrayed with a sense of style, mystery and
melodrama that has hooked since first listen. After the limited release of Arthur Baker's remix of
'Wonderful Life' earlier this year, the Sony-signed duo get their slow-reveal campaign off to an upbeat
start with the euphoric Better Than Love. Popjustice, NME and The Guardian have given early coverage
and the single has been added to BBC Radio 1's In New Music We Trust playlist and is on XFM's playlist.
Hurts have recently started the NME Radar Tour with Everything Everything and Darwin Deez, with
appearances at The Great Escape and Lovebox lined up this summer. An injustice will have been done
should reviews of their album not carry the headline 'So Good It Hurts'.
London gig: May 10, NME Radar Tour at Koko NW1
