Flowers Bloom
High Highs
WE SAY
This stunning track from High Highs owes as much to folk as it does electronica, offering delicate synth soundscapes complemented by haunting vocal harmonies. The momentum has started rolling at an impressive rate for the Brooklyn via Sydney three-piece. Early radio adopters include Zane Lowe on Radio 1, Lauren Laverne at 6Music, with John Kennedy, Mary Anne Hobbs and Eddy Temple Morris at Xfm. The band's live reception has been huge. Lauded for their SXSW performances, High Highs have cut their teeth supporting the likes of Jose Gonzales and The Radio Dept. Strong online support has come from The Guardian, NME.com and The Line Of Best Fit, with the band recently featured on the NME's 'Best New Bands of 2011' list. Their self-titled debut EP will be released November 21 via Rocket, the management company setup by Elton John, and called home by the likes of Ed Sheeran, Oh Land, Friends and Lily Allen.
