There is something inherently beautiful and timeless about this heartwarming and haunting piano-led offering from artist, songwriter and producer Harriet Rock. Having recently moved to London after living four years off grid in a cabin following a bereavement, Harriet has been working on writing and making music and is now ready to showcase her work. With her warm, husky vocals, backed by string flourishes and ghostly choir accompaniments, ‘Written For You’ is a powerfully reassuring ode - a big sonic hug of love, if you will. Deserving of plays at Radio 2 and 6 Music, alongside additions to mellow and comforting contextual playlists at DSPs, we reckon this would also be perfect for syncs for TV and films. Watch the video here. It's a touching song, full of promise, and we can’t wait to hear more from her.
