Call Me In The Afternoon
Half Moon Run
WE SAY
The ball is now well and truly rolling for Canadian foursome Half Moon Run. Firm RotD favourites with two previous features, press support is also coming in from the likes of NME with a Radar feature, Observer Magazine with a Why We’re Watching piece as well as Clash and QtheMusic (Q Magazine online) who are all falling for the band’s accomplished and impressive sounds. UK radio is receiving a massive reaction after Zane Lowe featured the beautiful Call Me In The Afternoon as his Hottest Record, backed up with R1 spins from Huw Stephens and Sara Cox on top of love from Xfm, 6 Music and Jo Whiley on Radio 2. Their sold out Village Underground show, upcoming Glastonbury festival performance and swelling Facebook fan numbers are reinforcing quite what an impact these guys are having ahead of their Dark Eyes album release on July 1.
London gig: 25 June – Village Underground – sold out // 18 Nov – Shepherd's Bush Empire
