WE SAY
Guy Valarino is an artist who continues to build up a loyal fanbase to his music and this lead title song from his five-track EP looks set to take things even further. The project was funded via an oversubscribed Pledge Music campaign and his appreciation for his supporters is being rewarded back to them through handwritten thank-you notes, personal picture books and Polaroids showing how they’ve enabled him to continue his work. Although he’s based in London, he performed on the main stage back home in Gibraltar during the summer at the music festival there which also saw James Bay, Tom Odell, Duran Duran and Rae Morris on the bill. The launch gig for this EP was last week at Surya and his next UK gig is at The Lucky Pig in central London on January 12. Then he’ll embark on another of his popular house concert tours during 2016, playing living room gigs in the UK, Europe and the USA. Guy makes uplifting acoustic guitar pop and has a great voice that finds people connecting deeply with it. Quite simply, this is accomplished, passion-filled quality music.
