The Basket
Guillemots
WE SAY
The Basket is the first taste of Guillemots' excellent forthcoming third studio album, the David Kosten- produced Walk The River (out April 18). The album sounds like a band whose time has come - critically, commercially and creatively. Debuted by Zane Lowe on Radio 1 last week as his Hottest Record In The World, this track has gone straight onto the daytime playlist at XFM and on BBC 6Music's B list. A free download of the album's title track has been made available on their website, while the video for The Basket premiered on The Guardian's music blog this week. A stirring acoustic performance of another great album track, the heartbreaking Don't Feel Amazing Now can be seen on Watch Listen Tell's YouTube channel. Secret shows to launch the album take place around the UK next month.
