Am I Asleep?

WE SAY
Packed full of emotion amidst sweeping post-rock soundscapes, Am I Asleep? marks the return of Irish alt-rock duo Greywind. Formed by siblings Steph (vocals) and Paul O’Sullivan (guitar), the duo were signed to Universal after their first track was uploaded to Soundcloud and picked up by Zane Lowe and Daniel P Carter at Radio 1. They then released their Jason Perry produced debut album Afterthoughts in 2017. Now, after regaining control of their catalogue rights, the band are embarking on the next stage of their career with this blast of expansive guitar-based rock. Produced by Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon), the track has picked up heavy support on Kerrang! and Irish radio, along with tastemaker praise at Clash, Hotpress and on numerous online blogs. Having played some of the biggest festivals, including Reading and Leeds, Isle of Wight, and Rock Am Ring, the group toured Ireland with Palaye Royale last year pre-pandemic and are now ready to hit the live circuit again once it is safe to do so with new music. A stadium-ready alt-rock anthem.
