Kickstarting our Ones To Watch 2021 is the 22 year old in-demand songwriter and artist GRACEY. Having written hits for the likes of Jonas Blue, Meghan Trainor, Tiesto, Rita Ora and Olly Murs after being recruited as a top-liner for Xenomania at the age of 16, she signed to Universal and we have watched her since grow in confidence and stature as she released her own material. Acclaim quickly came calling with the release of her debut EP, Imposter Syndrome, in 2019 with the likes of The Line of Best Fit, i-D, Wonderland, The Guardian and Sunday Times Culture singing her praises. 2020 has seen continued praise and success with a string of brilliantly relatable and catchy-as-hell pop gems, including her most recent single and Radio 1 playlisted track Like That and the RotD featured Empty Love ft. Ruel. On top that the Brighton born star has also become a household name by scoring her first ever Top 10 single in the UK charts and on TikTok, where her single Alone In My Room (Gone) became a certified lockdown anthem. Last month, she dropped her mini-album The Art Of Closure, featuring the above but also this assertive and outrageously cool pop offering, which was one of the first songs she wrote for herself. With an insanely gifted knack for creating infectious pop top-lines and relatable songs, we are sure GRACEY will have a massive 2021.
