This delicious blast of dark electro-pop is from singer-songwriter and four times UK Beatbox champion Grace Savage. Having started her career in the Beatbox field this fiercely independent artist from London has developed into an impressive, multi-talented maestro. With tastemaker support from the likes of Wonderland, BBC Introducing, The Line of Best Fit, Huck and many more behind her music, she is now back with her Barney Barnicott (Sam Fender, Jungle, Dan Croll) mixed EP, Instinct (out today, 5 June). In it, she explores the title’s theme in four glorious tracks that blend her signature ethereal vocals and synth-led production with trip-hop, dub and, of course, industrial synth-pop. Her previous single Falls The Heart featuring UK hip-hop artist Lady Sainty featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Pop and was crowned BBC Introducing ‘Upload of the Week’, but for us, it is this track that shows off her voice and lyricism to perfection. Today also sees her feature on a new track by KT Tunstall and later tonight at 7pm you can watch her EP launch livestream here. A devilishly infectious gem for the masses.
