Williams' Blood

Grace Jones

Wall of Sound

WE SAY

Williams' Blood is the first single from Grace Jones’ Hurricane album, her first studio album in nearly twenty years, released today on Wall Of Sound. Jones collaborates on this album with Tricky, Brian Eno, Sly and Robbie, as well as her own mother on this track. Lyrically it's a very personal song; driven by Jones' trademark electro-funk but book-ended by a theatrically dark beginning and a terrific gospel ending. Recent media appearances include a stirring turn on Later...with Jools Holland. A welcome return to form for Jones, who starts her UK Hurricane tour next January. JF
