WE SAY
Up Up Up is the gloriously up-beat debut single from Louisiana five piece Givers. The track has had strong radio support, being playlisted on Radio 1's ‘In New Music We Trust’, Fearne Cotton made it her ‘Record of the Week’ and Zane Lowe's declared it his 'Hottest Record In The World'. Up Up Up was also added to 6 Music and Xfm playlists. Signed to Glassnote (released through Island), a label called home by Mumford and Sons, Temper Trap and Phoenix, the band had a Radar feature in last weeks NME and have a feature to come in Q. Huw Stephens tipped Givers as "the highlight from this year's SXSW" and support is shaping up well across the Atlantic too, with the band performing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and invited onto Jimmy Kimmel. The next single will be Meantime on October 3, a week ahead of debut album - In Light. After the wealth of attention Givers have received throughout their live dates, media coverage and blog support, tomorrows gig (August 9) at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen is set to be an in demand ticket.
