That Day
Gilkicker
WE SAY
Hailing from Portsmouth and London, Gilkicker have got some good press for the unique way in which they've financed their debut release. They were one of the first bands to release a single through slicethepie.com, a site which allowed them to utilise their existing fanbase to get financing for their record. Support slots with the likes of Babyshambles, Larrikin Love and The Holloways have also positioned them well. This neat piece of infectious guitar pop was also an Unsigned Record Of The Week on XFM.
