Blending spirited electronic melodies with a touch of wistful nostalgia and the rhythmic tapestry of UK Garage drum beats, ‘Golden Eyes’ is the new English language release from Quebec artist Margaux Sauvé, aka Ghostly Kisses. Co-produced with George Fitzgerald (who provided the beats) and Louis-Etinenne Santais, the song is a beautiful ode about being in love with your best friend. Having amassed over 100m streams for her debut album ‘Heaven, Wait’ and tastemaker praise from Wonderland, Metal Mag, Crack Mag and Clash, to name a few, she has just finished touring Asia and support slots with Ry X, Lord Huron, Men I Trust and Pomme. Next up, she will be performing at the Pitchfork Festival in Berlin before releasing new material in 2024. With her spellbinding vocals and new musical evolution on ‘Golden Eyes’, Ghostly Kisses offers a therapeutic and absorbing listening experience for new and old listeners. Top stuff.
