Shake (What Ya Mama Gave Ya)

General Levy vs Zeus vs Bally Jagpal

East West

WE SAY

Having conquered the world of rock with the The Darkness and Muse, the UK's hottest major East West are also the UK's new home of reggae, thanks to Atlantic's VP deal (Sean Paul, Wayne Wonder), the signing of Kevin Lyttle (to VP/Atlantic, although the UK are leading with it and East West UK were very involved in the deal), the rumoured signing of Elephant Man, and this single. It's Asian meets R&B meets ragga - what could be more 'now' than that? Happily it's a subtle blend with a crafty, catchy hook.
