Thomas Slinger is the Leicester-born musician, DJ and producer also known as Gemini. Whilst studying at Leeds University, he carved a niche as a creator of EDM which leant heavily towards dubstep and his 2011 EP Blue saw him become a favourite on specialist shows at Radio 1 with support from Zane Lowe, Annie Mac and MistaJam. Remix work followed for superstars like Ed Sheehan, Lana Del Rey and Ellie Goulding before he then went off travelling the world in search of new ideas and inspiration for his own music. The result is this fabulous track taken from the forthcoming debut album Wanderlust and it's already had support from YouTube channels including Mr Suicide Sheep and La Belle Musique as well as tastemaker blogs The 405 and Popjustice. It's a glorious melting pot of global influences absorbed from his trip and you’ll hear eastern and Asian sounds blend perfectly with Scandi-pop sensibilities, together conjuring up cinematic vistas of widescreen scenery. You'll imagine yourself deep in the middle experiencing it all first hand too. Just simply stunning.
