Influenced by SZA, Rihanna, Miguel, Mahalia and Yebba, Gabi Goldman is a rising 25 year old Swedish artist based in Stockholm. Since her seductive debut release, ‘Body Heat’, in 2023 and follow-up singles, ‘Few Good’ and ‘2 Hard 2’, which was co-written and co-produced by Decap (Anderson.Paak, Talib Kweli), with writers Feli Ferraro (Normani) and Livvi Franc (Ciara), she has received tastemaker praise from Wonderland, Euphoria, GUAP, Official Charts, The Line Of Best Fit, Ones To Watch, That Grape Juice and more. Released last week, ‘For Myself’ is her latest single, produced by Johan Christian (Tems, Mahalia) and co-written with Harloe (Britney Spears, Charli XCX). With her honeyed, soulful vocals, gliding and soaring over smooth R&B sonics and a boom-bap groove, this track is an effortlessly sensual pop listen. Early support has come from Colors, but we think this would also sound perfect on Radio 1, 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, and Kiss, as well as additions to new R&B playlists at DSPs. Accompanying the release is a narrative mood visualiser - watch here. Alongside her music, she is a dancer and model and has featured in Adidas, Nike and MONKI campaigns. One to watch.
