She Don't Dance (With The Sun No More)
Fridge Magnets
WE SAY
Scotland's award-winning newcomers Fridge Magents rattle through She Don't Dance (With The Sun No More) like they're ruling a packed club in Ibiza. The Hervé produced dose of adrenaline is backed by a live show with punch, described as "more like a chaotic mini-rave than a traditional rock show". This is the first proper single, but it's preceded by a demo release of Feeling Grows which rocketed to Radio 1's ‘In New Music We Trust’ playlist, picking up support from Fearne Cotton, Greg James, Scott Mills, Huw Stephens, Dev, Nick Grimshaw, Annie Mac and Gemma Cairney, without as much as radio plugger. It's not taken long for the local buzz to travel 400 miles south of their home town to London, with hype-flooded shows at ABC 2 and King Tuts seeing the band booked for Rockness, T In The Park and Belladrum, alongside tour support slots for Calvin Harris, Alex Metric and The Japanese Popstars, culminating in two awards and a stampede chase from live agents and major label A&Rs.
