The Sad Song
Fredo Viola
WE SAY
We discovered this via the b3ta newsletter - like them, we love the web - and discoveries like this are the reason why. A quite unique bit of music, somewhere between Oh Superman and Aqualung, accompanied by a really clever and unusual video. (or here) In fact it's more than a video, although it cost nothing to make - the artist says it "was created entirely using 15 second jpg movies from my little Nikon Coolpix 775 still camera, reconstructed in AfterEffects." He's currently writing songs for the film Man About Town whose cast includes Ben Affleck, Rebecca Romijn and John Cleese.
