Don't Please Yourself

Foy Vance

Wurdamouth

WE SAY

Things are happening at pace for Belfast's Foy Vance since we last featured him. Well positioned spots during SXSW saw two of his songs picked up for synching on popular US TV show Greys Anatomy. Audience response pushed forward the US single release of one of those tracks, Gabriel & The Vagabond. This is from his forthcoming EP, Watermelon Oranges. It's catchy but effortless rhythm & blues feel put us in mind of fellow Belfast man Van Morrison – a strong voice and uplifting songwriting make Foy the complete package. JF London Gig: 23 June, Wireless Festival, Hyde Park
