If Only The Moon Were Up

Field Music

Memphis Industries

WE SAY

We're all for the psychedelic revival, but we're often disappointed by the tunes. Likewise with the new wave of British guitar bands. Field Music fit in to both categories, but we really like this tune which we heard on John Kennedy's show on Xfm. It's the opening track on their debut album which was raved about by Time Out, the NME, Mojo, Uncut, The Times, The Observer, Music Week, The Fly, The Telegraph, DJ, Metro and The Independent. They're a three piece (Andrew Moore plus brothers Peter and David Brewis) and an ever- shifting crew of additional members from the same North East scene as The Futureheads and Maximo Park. Watch the video in Quicktime or Real Audio.
