With its warm acoustic guitar melodies and soul-stirring vocals, ‘The Reason’ is the latest release by London-based Irish pop-singer-songwriter Fia Moon. Taken from her forthcoming debut EP, the track was written alongside singer/songwriter Ashley Singh and sees Fia reunite again with Welsh producer Geth, who produced her RotD-featured single ‘Never Wrote A Song For You’. A deeply emotive reflection on post-breakup heartache and letting go, 'The Reason' blends raw vulnerability with rich, polished production — making it a perfect addition to sad/breakup pop playlists on DSPs, as well as a spins on Radio 1’s Future Pop. Fia’s previous releases have earned her tastemaker support from the likes of Spotify, Clash, Nialler9, Hot Press, and Irish Radio (over 70m impressions) & TV, including RTE 2FM, The Late Late Show, and The Six O’Clock Show. Having recently supported Billy Lockett on his UK tour, with a standout show at Union Chapel and performances at London’s Omeara, Fia is gearing up for more in 2025, including a Trafalgar Square performance this Sunday for St Patrick’s Festival 2025.
