Pilot With A Fear Of Heights

Grabbing your immediate attention, Felicity is a 19-year-old artist and songwriter with over 700,000 streams to her name and 12,000 Instagram followers. Born in Australia, raised in Capetown, she went to high school in Denver, and has now landed in New York. Her debut single Poison put her in the spotlight with 64,000 Soundcloud plays and 550,000 Spotify streams. That piano-led ballad was followed up with the more hiphop-tinged Burnt Sugar. Now comes this proper tour de force of a track, inspired by a flight into NYC as she began her descent - what if someone was so destined for a certain way of life, but was too scared and afraid to actually pursue that? Dramatic piano chords set the whole thing up before her soaring Florence-esque vocal kicks in and we’re off, with crashing drum beats, handclaps and a bold, anthemic chorus, produced by Brian Kierulf, who's worked with Lady Gaga, Mike Posner and Britney among others. There's no doubt in our minds that this fantastic song is a dynamic statement of intent from a proper fresh new star on the block.
