How Come You Never Go There
Feist
Polydor/Interscope/Universal/Arts & Crafts
WE SAY
The beautiful and intimate How Come You Never Go There marks the return of Feist. Four years after the release of Grammy nominated album The Reminder, she is set to release Metals on October 3. Having sung with Broken Social Scene, the singer's past two solo albums have accumulated sales in excess of 2.5 million, have won nine Juno awards and received five Grammy nominations. Recorded in Big Sur - a beautiful part of California - this song was co-produced by long time collaborator Chilly Gonzales, Mocky and Valgeir Sigurðsson (Bjork, Bonnie "Prince" Billy). In the run up to the album launch Feist will be releasing 12 vignettes, each giving an impression of the different elements of the album (view them here). Feist's first London show in three years sold out within hours of going on sale.
London Gig: October 17, London Palladium W1 (sold out).
