Feist
WE SAY
Bluegrass, jazz and soul all come together beautifully on this gem from Feist's album The Reminder. Receiving some great reviews in the British music press, we think it's definitely a contender for album of the year so far. We'd go as far as to agree with what The Times said about it: "Richly melodic and exquisite". It has performed well around the world too, peaking at number two in Canada, debuting at number 16 in US, with over 140,000 sold, and it went top five in France and Germany. This, the next single, is Feist at her poppiest and also most entrancing. We love the video, taken in one continuous take (with live woah-oohs and handclaps). JF London gig: 24 July, The Scala WC1 (sold out).
