WE SAY
The German music-buying public went nuts for this tune making it a No.1 hit at the back end of 2013 - and we wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the world follows suit. Already top 5 in Austria, Belgium and Hungary, early support in the UK came late last year from Danny Howard and Fearne Cotton at Radio 1 along with the station's Dance Anthems show and across Capital XTRA (where it's now playlisted). The track has stormed the Shazam pre-release chart, hitting No.20, a full eight weeks out. It samples 2007 track Baby, created by Pnau, the side project of the guys from Empire Of The Sun, along with Peter Mayes. French DJ and production duo Faul & Wad Ad (alias 21-year-old kids Maxime & Camil) discovered the song on YouTube, loved the ace kids choir that's on it, noodled about a bit with it, added the luscious hooky sax line that'll be in your head all day now, sent it back for clearance and this is the finished result. Beautiful, soulful, even jazzy, you can imagine lazing around a pool to this all summer long. Great little video too. We reckon it's a refreshing alternative to 2014's current crop of club bangers and will cut through with audiences in every country - especially now with a global Mercedes-Benz ad sync.
