Samba Do Mundo
Fatboy Slim presents Gregor Salto feat. Saxsymbol & Todorov
WE SAY
Destined to be synced on just about every piece of sports programming worldwide over the coming months, as well as sounding like an absolutely massive chart hit, Fatboy Slim returns after the recent success of Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat with this. It reminds us of a joyous throwback to big dance tunes from that 1997 era, when Bellini's Samba De Janeiro and Dario G's Sunchyme were two of the year's mightiest floorfillers. With a true feel-good Rio carnival vibe, it's the first cut from an album Fatboy Slim Presents Bem Brasil (due on May 26) featuring new tracks from the man himself, as well as curated remixes from the likes of DJ Fresh, Joey Negro and Dutch DJ and producer Gregor Salto, who was responsible for this ace track. All tied around the theme of this year's World Cup Finals, the songs on the album feature samples and hooks from many classic Brazilian anthems, all re-imagined for a whole new clubbing audience in 2014 and beyond. Quite honestly, if this doesn't get you dancing, you're probably clinically dead.
