No More Nails
Eyesore & The Jinx
WE SAY
It’s just been under four years since we last featured the twitchy and acerbic post-punk sounds of Liverpool trio Eyesore & The Jinx. Since then, the band dropped their debut EP ‘The Exile Parlour’ in the midst of the pandemic and then, earlier this year followed it up with self-released 7" ‘An Ideas Man’/‘Do What You Love’. Their releases have seen tastemaker support from 6 Music (Steve Lamacq), Radio X (John Kennedy), The Line of Best Fit, Dork, So Young and Loud & Quiet, to name just a few. Following a couple of syncs obtained by Sentric, the trio recorded their forthcoming debut album ‘Jitterbug’ at Yellowbird Studio with producer Daniel Fox (Gilla Band) last summer. Released yesterday, this urgent anthem is their first release from the album and is a song about compulsive behaviours. Ready for plays on 6 Music, ‘No More Nails’ is an excellent taster for their forthcoming album.
