Proper Education

Eric Prydz vs Floyd

Data/Positiva

WE SAY

Proper Education was the biggest track at Amsterdam Dance Event and has already featured at no1 in the Buzz and Cool Cut charts, despite not being released until January. This was added to the Radio 1 playlist seven weeks upfront (Call On Me was only added six weeks upfront). The Pink Floyd sample was cleared by EMI at some expense – it is the first time a Pink Floyd record has ever officially been cleared. The release will carry EMI’s Positiva logo alongside Data, who should make a great start to 2007 with this. It has already entered the Pre-Release Airplay chart at no13 - this is a deserved airplay and sales smash. JF
