Redshift
Enter Shikari
WE SAY
Annie Mac at Radio 1 premiered this great new track by Enter Shikari as a surprise reveal on her show a few weeks ago. It comes almost a year on from their Top 10 album The Mindsweep, which picked up the trophy at the 2015 AIM Awards for Independent Album of the Year and saw them nominated for Best British Band at the Kerrang! Awards. After a busy 12 months playing Download, Glastonbury and festivals across Europe and Russia, they embark on a series of UK dates which start this Thursday (February 18) in Glasgow and culminate in a massive London gig at Alexandra Palace on February 27. They’re promising their biggest production to date, utilising quadrophonic sound for the first time in their live career. Then they tour across Europe in March including their biggest-ever shows in Germany. Redshift showcases an accomplished, accessible and hugely confident sound by the lads, one that’s likely to win them new admirers as well as endearing them even further wth their ultra-loyal fanbase who’ve followed their progress for almost a decade now. This is a bold, solid gem.
