With this song recently premiered on Clash, it’s great to feature Emmi once more and bring things up to date on her story so far. We first brought you her music in summer 2015 when the excellent My Kinda Swag opened the door for her at Radio 1 and led to an appearance at the station’s Big Weekend event. Next up, Taylor Swift endorsed her track Sleep On It in a hand-written curated playlist and, most recently, she provided the voice to the jazz-singing goblin in JK Rowling’s movie Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them. Two other features led to attention elsewhere with Blind spending months on the French charts, earning 26 million streams along the way, and Our Youth soundtracking a global Pepsi campaign, and then gaining a Norwegian 'Grammy' nod. You’ll hear Sia and Lorde influences on this excellent new track, and it’s already been supported by BBC Introducing in London, Devon and Guernsey. A great vocal performance, solid pop production and so many earworms to keep it rattling round your head all means every element is in place for global crossover potential with this.
